The Exponext gears up to showcase advanced technological know-how at 67th IPC in Mysuru

Exponext, one of the leading exhibition management and service providing companies, will showcase the Indian pharmaceutical industry’s technological prowess at the 67th edition of the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC).

The three-day event which is scheduled to be held in Mysuru at JSS University Campus, between December 19 and 21, 2015 is a platform to display all the latest technological developments, upgradation and adaptation in pharmaceutical industry through a stellar display of equipment, instruments and utilities.

Referred to as the Pharmaceutical Expo – 2015, the exhibition will be held simultaneously with the scientific session that is core to the IPC. This initiative by Exponext will showcase the advances in manufacturing and research.

The event organized by Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association, with convention theme as 'Healthy India-Swasth Bharat', envisages 10,000 national and international delegates.

The Congress will cover various issues related to the industry, academia and community pharmacy. It will be inaugurated by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and the exhibition will be inaugurated by the Minister of Chemicals and fertilizers Ananth Kumar.

It is sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline, Indegene and Meopharm amongst other renowned pharmaceutical brands. Present on the occasion would be Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Chairman & Managing Director, Biocon Limited, Bengaluru; Dr. Pankaj Patel, Chairman & Managing Director of Cadila Healthcare; and Sri Dilip Surana, Managing Director of Micro Labs, Bengaluru who would provide insights into the industry.

The American Medical Association along with the Drug Regulators from all the SAARC Countries and The Drug Controllers of India will grace the occasion.

The congress efficaciously confirmed some of the industry experts as the speakers for the event like Dr. VK Subburaj, Secretary, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India; KL Sharma, Joint Secretary, MOHFW, GOI; Pankaj Patel, Chairman & MD, Zydus Cadila, Ahmedabad and many more.

A platform for exchange of knowledge, the congress will comprise of other technical and professional intellectuals from the relevant branches of pharmacy from all over the globe and facilitate the interaction amongst peers enabling clarity in exchange of information, helping the pharmaceutical community to serve better in their field.
